Last week, I spent a couple days in Chicago at a due diligence event sponsored by Counsel Portfolio Services. We spent the two days engaged in active dialogue with several of the money managers who manage your Counsel investments. It was an excellent opportunity to gather current market insight and understand the potential opportunities and risks in the current environment and its possible impact on your portfolio.  It also gave us a chance to understand how each investment manager is managing the risks and taking advantage of the opportunities that they see in the markets today.
